Voting is underway in Nepal for the 2026 general elections as millions of ******** head to polling booths to choose a new government. Around 9 million voters are eligible to cast their ballots for 165 directly elected seats in the House of Representatives, while the remaining seats will be allocated through proportional representation. Major parties including CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, and Maoist Centre are in the race, while emerging leaders and new parties are also challenging traditional political forces.
