Farooq Abdullah Survives Gun Attack at Jammu Wedding

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah narrowly escaped a gun attack during a private wedding function in Jammu. Police said a 63-year-old man managed to approach him and fired a shot with a licensed pistol, but security personnel quickly intervened and overpowered the suspect. No injuries were reported in the incident. The accused has been taken into custody and his motive is being investigated. Authorities are also examining how he reached so close despite tight security arrangements.
