আজকের এই ফোরাম আলোচনায় আমরা এমন একটি বিষয় নিয়ে কথা বলছি, যা অনেক বাবা–মায়ের জন্য ভীষণ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। সন্তানের নাম শুধু একটি পরিচয় নয়, বরং তার জীবন, চরিত্র ও মূল্যবোধের সঙ্গে গভীরভাবে জড়িত। বিশেষ করে ইসলামিক দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে নাম নির্বাচন করলে তার অর্থ, উৎস এবং উচ্চারণ—সবকিছুই বিবেচনায় রাখা হয়। এই কারণেই অনেকেই খোঁজ করেন র দিয়ে মেয়েদের ইসলামিক নাম, যেগুলো অর্থবহ, সুন্দর এবং ধর্মীয়ভাবে গ্রহণযোগ্য।

অনেক অভিভাবক নাম বাছাইয়ের সময় এমন নাম চান, যা আধুনিক শোনালেও ইসলামী মূল্যবোধের সঙ্গে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ। “র” দিয়ে শুরু হওয়া নামগুলোর মধ্যে এমন অনেক নাম আছে যেগুলো আরবি ভাষা থেকে এসেছে এবং কুরআন, হাদিস বা ইসলামী ইতিহাসের সঙ্গে যুক্ত। আবার কিছু নাম রয়েছে যেগুলো সরাসরি কুরআনে না থাকলেও অর্থ ও ব্যবহার অনুযায়ী ইসলামসম্মত।
এই ধরনের নাম বেছে নেওয়ার সময় শুধু সুন্দর শোনালেই যথেষ্ট নয়, নামের প্রকৃত অর্থ জানা খুবই জরুরি। অনেক সময় একই নামের একাধিক অর্থ থাকতে পারে, তাই নির্ভরযোগ্য উৎস থেকে অর্থ যাচাই করা ভালো। পাশাপাশি নামের উচ্চারণ সহজ হওয়া এবং দৈনন্দিন জীবনে ব্যবহারযোগ্য হওয়াও একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়।
